We seek a Specialist Adviser / Employability Tutor / Trainer to work with learners and their future or current employers on government funded contracts. There are two different types of Specialist Advisers dependent upon the area in which you live:
Specialist Adviser 1: Will be liaising very closely with employers to understand their needs. This will help with getting learners into roles that will be long - lasting. You will also spend time designing new material that will help your learner reach their employment goals. Once you have agreed with your learner what training they will undertake, you will then deliver the courses to them to prepare them for employment.
Specialist Adviser 2: Will be liaising on a 1 to 1 or group basis with learners on short modules. You will use a self discovery approach in a three week delivery timescale. This programme is designed to improve confidence and motivation. You will be working with candidates to help them with Interview techniques, CV writing, confidence building.

The team is established and you will be an integral part.
You will be required to work to targets.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Previous experience of working with young people
Ability to communicate with and engage young people
Be emphatic, motivated, resilient and patient
A business-like and learner focused approach to learning and development pathways leading to employment
A good understanding of and strong commitment to widening access to learning and development and boosting learner completion, achievement and employment
Good administration and IT skills
