TELEMARKETING SALES/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SALES EXECUTIVE - Business & IT Solutions/Software Sector Co.
£18,500k - £21k basic, £30-40k OTE + Excellent Benefits + Career Progression.

Our client is a successful global organisation within the Business & IT Solutions/Software Sector. Currently seeking a professional and articulate business development, telemarketing and sales researcher person who is experienced at developing new business and qualifying quality appointments with key decision makers in corporate and blue chip organisations.
Role & Key responsibilities;
Responsible for selling and promoting IT Consultancy, Services and Solutions.
Aiming to secure quality and qualified client appointments for the field sales team.
Taking a conceptual and consultative sales approach.
Selling in to new clients within specialist sectors such as Public Sector, Telecommunications, Banking or Education.
Working in partnership with a Field Sales Consultant.
Responsible for sourcing valuable new business leads.
Identifying relevant companies to sell to.
Cold calling new companies.
Warm calling.
Understanding clients needs & building immediate client rapport.
Selling and explaining the benefits of the specialist IT solutions and consultancy available.
Involved in client development, including follow up calls.
Long term account management and growth of client business.
Hitting monthly sales targets and call targets.
Maintain accurate business forecasts both weekly and monthly.
Necessary background & sales approach
Must be an experienced Telemarketing Executive, Business Development Executive or Sales Researcher.
Skilled at sourcing new business leads, cold calling, developing new business and making quality client appointments at Director/MD/CEO level.
Must have a proven track record of success gained in a similar business to business telemarketing and business development role in a corporate, plc organisation or similar.
Relevant telemarketing sales experience gained in the IT or Software industries is highly desirable.
Telemarketing or business development experience gained in a solution or concept sales environment is needed as you will be used to selling the benefits of services and solutions rather than selling tangible products.
Tenacity, ability to build rapport.
Able to identify new markets and opportunities and proven lead sourcing ability.
Methodical approach, maximising the potential of all leads.
Must have direct outbound cold-calling telesales experience.
Full sales cycle and ability to close deals is advantageous.
Must be target driven, confident with good communication and presentation skills.
Creative and innovative.
